We blend creativity with purpose, creating visuals that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Outcome
A transaction platform a busy attorney can read in seconds, not minutes. Cloze manages real estate closings where a single professional juggles many matters at once, each with its own milestones, documents, parties and deadlines. Every screen is built to answer one question at a glance: where does this stand, and what needs me next. The home screen opens not as a dashboard but as the day’s queue, and each deal shows its place in the closing from a single glance.
Challenge
A real estate closing is dozens of moving parts: milestones, documents, key dates, parties, tasks, all running in parallel across every active matter. The people who run these deals, attorneys and transaction coordinators, do not have time to sit and dig. They open the tool between calls, needing to know what is late, what closes this week, and what to touch first. Most tools in this space bury that answer. They present everything at once with equal weight, so the user has to read the whole screen to find the one thing that matters. The design problem was the opposite of adding features: it was making the product scannable, so a time-poor professional gets the state of their work in seconds and acts, without wading through it.
Approach
Triage before everything. We framed the whole product around one question, what needs me now, so the day starts with a decision instead of a data dump.Linear state over status fields. We chose a single progress line per deal so position reads at a glance, instead of making the user assemble it from scattered fields.Let risk interrupt. We gave late and imminent items active signals so they surface on their own, rather than waiting to be found.Depth without weight. We pushed detail one layer down behind clear structure, keeping the overview scannable while nothing gets lost.Restraint as a feature. We kept the type and color system tight so dense transaction data stays readable, scanning never fights the interface.
